Come and enjoy a cottage holiday in Sennan Bay, just up the road from Land's End. Sennen Cove is an old pilchard fishing village which still has an albeit reduced commercial fishing fleet. The legend goes that once upon a time mermaids sunned themselves on the rocks. These days you will probably not get a glimpse of the mermaids but if you are fortunate in their place you will see dolphins playing.

Beaches: It is known for his beautiful white sand beaches which are popular with sunbathers. Sennen Beach is a safe beach with professional lifeguard cover during the summer months. Dog owners need to remember that dogs are not allowed on the beaches from Easter to the beginning of October.

Surfing: The atlantic waves have been attracting surfers to the area for many a year. There is even a surf school for beginners and those who wish to learn more.

The RNLI lifeboat Station in Sennen Cove is worth a visit at the City of London III Tamar Class all weather lifeboat based there.

Art: Once you have tired of sunbathing or surfing you can take a look at the interesting looking Round House and Capstan Gallery which hosts exhibition of work (for sale) by locally based artists which reflects the beautiful scenery of the area.
